Terms of Service
Last updated September 9, 2026
1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and DinkFlow (“DinkFlow,” “we,” “us”). They govern your access to and use of the DinkFlow website, apps, and services (together, the “Service”).
By creating an account, registering for or organizing a tournament, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you use the Service on behalf of a club, league, or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms, and “you” includes that organization.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Players must be at least 13 years old, and a parent or guardian must register and manage participation for any player under 18. You must not register any player under 13, and organizers are responsible for complying with any rules that apply to minors at their events. The Service is not directed to children under 13.
One email, one role
Each email address is tied to a single role — player, scorekeeper, or organizer. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us at hello@dinkflow.app if you suspect unauthorized use.
You agree to provide accurate, current information (including division-eligibility details such as gender and, where required, DUPR rating) and to keep it up to date. You may not impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or eligibility.
3. Players, scorekeepers & organizers
DinkFlow is a platform that helps organizers run pickleball tournaments and helps players register, find partners, and follow their matches. We are not the organizer of any event, and we do not run, officiate, or take responsibility for events themselves.
If you organize events
You are solely responsible for your tournaments — including their rules, format, eligibility criteria, schedule, entry fees, refunds, on-site conduct, safety, and any required permits, insurance, or waivers. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you publish and for how you handle participants’ personal information, and you agree to comply with all laws that apply to your events.
Our Data Processing Addendum forms part of these Terms for organizers. It sets out that you are responsible for your participants’ data as controller, that DinkFlow processes it on your behalf as your processor and service provider, and the commitments each of us makes. You accept it when you set up your organization.
If you play
Registering does not guarantee entry, a specific division, a partner, or a schedule; placement depends on eligibility rules, capacity, and organizer decisions. Disputes about an event’s conduct, results, or refunds are between you and the organizer.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service unlawfully, or to harass, defraud, or harm others;
- Access, tamper with, or misuse other users' accounts or personal data;
- Upload content that is illegal, infringing, deceptive, or that you have no right to share;
- Disrupt, overload, probe, or circumvent the security or integrity of the Service;
- Scrape, harvest, or bulk-export data except through features we provide;
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.
We may investigate and take appropriate action, including removing content and suspending accounts, for conduct that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe is harmful.
5. Registrations, entries & partner invites
The Service lets players register for divisions, invite or accept a doubles partner, and join a partner-finder pool. Eligibility (for example, division rating or gender requirements) is checked when you register, and an entry or team is confirmed only once its requirements — including any required payment — are satisfied.
Partner invitations expire, and entries may be closed by deadlines or capacity set by the organizer. We are not responsible if a partner declines, an invitation expires, or an event fills before your entry is complete.
6. Payments, fees & refunds
Entry fees are set by the organizer and processed securely through our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your full card details. By paying an entry fee, you authorize the applicable charge, including any organizer-specified amount (such as covering a partner’s fee).
Refunds
Refunds, cancellations, and transfers are governed by the organizer’s policy for that event; the organizer, not DinkFlow, decides and issues them. Direct refund requests to the organizer. Do not initiate a chargeback before contacting the organizer; abusive or fraudulent chargebacks may result in suspension.
Organizer subscriptions
Some organizer features are offered under paid plans (for example, starter, club, pro, or enterprise tiers). Plan fees, billing frequency, and included features are described at purchase. Unless stated otherwise, subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law, and plan changes take effect as described at the time of the change. We may adjust plans and pricing on reasonable notice.
7. Communications & consent
When you use the Service we send transactional and relationship messages about your account and events — for example, invites, schedules, results, reminders, and receipts. These are part of the Service. You can manage optional messages and unsubscribe from non-essential email from your email preferences; some administrative messages are required to use the Service and cannot be turned off.
If we later offer SMS notifications, they will be strictly opt-in and you can stop them by replying STOP. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your contact information.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and DinkFlow branding, is owned by DinkFlow and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the Service except as permitted by law.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use them without obligation to you.
9. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you submit — such as tournament details, team and player information, sponsor logos, and images. You grant DinkFlow a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, display, and transmit that content as needed to operate and improve the Service.
You are responsible for your content and represent that you have the rights to share it and that it does not infringe others’ rights or violate any law. We may remove content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or a third party’s rights.
10. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers (for example, Stripe for payments, and our hosting, database, and email providers) and may link to third-party sites. Your use of those services is subject to their terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any event will take place as described. Sports participation carries inherent risks that are between you and the organizer.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DinkFlow and its owners, employees, and providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or for events, injuries, or disputes arising from tournaments run by organizers.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid DinkFlow for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) US $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DinkFlow from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your content, your events, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.
14. Suspension & termination
You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by contacting hello@dinkflow.app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnification) will survive.
15. Changes to the Service & these Terms
We may modify the Service and update these Terms as the product evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
16. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing any formal dispute, you agree to first contact us at hello@dinkflow.app so we can try to resolve it informally. Any dispute that cannot be resolved will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the State of Delaware, USA, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
